Perfect for beginners. I learned mahjong fast because of clear tutorials, practice games against computer opponents, and game playback. Aesthetic gameplay and characters! Smooth, fast-paced, and addictive rounds. Since only been playing for almost a week, I have recommended it to several people who all enjoy it. Although I have no real complaints, it's been hard to acquire rewards in-game as a gamer who wants to never purchase in-game money. Other than that, it’s the best mahjong game!

Great online only mahjong game. The UI and suggestions are intuitive. Great anime artwork and voices. Probably the most refined mahjong game at the moment. I never wait too long to get matched up in the bronze ranking. The monetisation system is cosmetic only. I don't think there is a way to access these without paying. I think it would be improved with an offline mode, for when I don't have internet access. Maybe also some incentives for players to return over time.

Outside of there being little explanation of how the hands translate into points, the game has a good tutorial. But the game does a fairly good job of giving a relative feel(with a nice reference card for the various hands) and plays well(the timer system is a bit on the odd side, but you get used to it fairly quickly). The variants are also fun shakeups of the core mahjong formula worth trying. Monetization is limited to cosmetics, but is at P2W prices if you go beyond the monthly pass.
