(Take this review with a grain of salt.) There's a significant jump in the second chapter, because the moment you reach it, you're going to have to grind which, technically is what Swordash is about. While I did grab this game to play some hack and slashing, the challenge is there. I would have preferred to give players a bit more grace with these chapters, maybe extend them slowly and give more guidance with improving (refining, upgrading, opening crates, etc.) instead of exponentially growing.

Overall it's a good game, pretty unique. I thought it'd be slop but I was wrong, i like the art direction and combat system. One problem is the English translation, it can mess up your gameplay and immersion. The game is lacking in the story department but it makes up for it with its replayability (it doesn't feel repetitive). I haven't encountered any massive issues yet since I've been playing for less than a day.

Great game. !!Ads crash game tho!! It's an action hack&/. Fun rpg elements. you may need to do some farming to stay current, and if your still struggling, keep only the most rare of each gear, break down the rest, put those xp into the gear you kept. I struggled cuz I tried to hoard gear with good effects. But the more rare gears lvl up so much better, it's not worth keeping weaker gear. Devs, plz fix; watch ads for reward>ads crash game>doesn't give reward. Hope that's not on purpose!
