I wanted to use this as a personal log for fishing, but it's priotizing being a social media platform for some reason and there's apparently no option for your profile or logged catches to be private. I don't want a bunch of strangers seeing my photos so I guess I just wont log catches on the app anymore. Otherwise the free version is functional but a lot is behind paywalls.

It's not the worst app, but it has tons of glitches and crashes a lot. Video uploads rarely work, if at all. It has the bones and layout of a good app, but overall, it is disappointing. Any previously useful feature is now locked behind a rather large paywall. I had once rated this 4 stars, but now 2 is the most I can give.

pretty much useless unless you pay a sub. I tried the free version to see if it would be worth the app purchase, it was not. This is essentially "Fish Instagram" which you can't really access unless you pay, there is no specific data on spots, fish types, bite tines, bait, etc perhaps those things are available if you pay, but the free bait was not enticing enough to make me bite.

Some of our features are extra complex and require more resources to maintain which therefore has to be a part of the Fishbrain Pro package, which is necessary for us to be able to provide value for anglers – both today and tomorrow.
